Pamilya ‘64 core group unites Rabisa scholars for first ever team building activity.
The memorable day started with an orientation about the organization which was hosted by Engr. Bernard Falcunaya, Batch 6 scholar. The event started with an “introduce yourself” activity facilitated by Coreen Katigbak, Batch 11. During the said activity, scholars were tasked to write their personal information on a sheet of paper to be collected by the facilitator, followed by QuizIt. Erna Allysa Coro and Duanne Rei Fiscal both Batch 14 scholars were hailed winners of the game.
Meanwhile, other scholars joined the program by doing their assigned tasks. Nicah Lontoc, Batch 13 led the opening prayer; followed by the welcoming remarks of Ms. Joy Malata, Batch 2 and Vice president of the Pamilya ’64 Core group. After this, Mr. Bong Vizconde, Class ‘64’s official representative discussed pertinent information about the Br. Stephen Rabisa Gift of Education and Pamilya ‘64.
The core group Chair, Ms. Nesiel Manalo, then continued the discussion on the organization’s mission, vision and core values. Ms. Rachel Enrico, Batch 2 and Finance officer of the core group introduced the Core Group officers and laid out the annual core activities of the organization. Jed followed with the discussion of the Scholars’ Role, enrollment procedures, and other reminders. To commence the orientation and prepare for the team building activity proper, the Abad Family headed by Ms. Dulce Abad, wife of the late Mr. Antonio “Lito” Abad III, graced the team building with an inspirational message for the scholars.
The afternoon session kicked off after a hearty lunch. It started off with the scholars’ preparation for a cheering competition before the start of Pamilya ‘64 Race: Navigating towards kindness. The race was composed of six stations with corresponding challenges that each group had to go through to successfully complete the race. After the race was declared open, the groups rushed to their corresponding stations and not just played the games but also built rapport and good relationship with their teammates.
After the nerve-wracking and challenging games, awarding followed hailing winners in various categories. Ranela Mayo, Batch 17 was recognized for the Early Bird Award, the Blue Team won the Best Cheer, Violet Team got the 3rd Placer for the Pamilya ‘64 Race, while Red Team snatched the 2nd Place. In the end, the Yellow Team bagged the 1st Place and emerged as the winners of the first-ever team building activity of Pamilya ’64 scholars.
The activity ended with a Closing remark from Ms. Nesiel Manalo followed by the Closing Prayer of a representative from Batch 17.
